Vin, I'm interested in your use of NiMH cells in your Me 262. From what I've been seeing on E-Zone, the book on them is that they don't have the ability to put out the high currents we can get from nickle-cad's, even though they have greater capacity for their weight. The conclusion was they work out ok in smaller models that don't have as high a demand for current but they'll give you longer run times for a given battery weight.

Maybe those ideas are getting to be out of date. If NiMH cells are improving, that's really good news. 3000 mah capacity in 4.5 minutes works out to 40 amps. Can NiMH cells do this now?
