IMO the hard wing on these airplanes give them greater sensitivity to control inputs, especially elevator. Because the wing doesnt tend to mush, it changes direction very crisply. My 66 inch Edge and Extra have about 1/2 inch maximum elevator deflection and I dont nearly use half as much most of the time. The servos dont have to crank out a lot of torque and standard servos appear to be quite adequate! Also check for lateral balance. My Extra 66 was rolling out of a loop before I put about 1 oz in a wingtip. Also adjust engine thrust as it can make a big difference in tracking under power. Now it flies dead straight nomatter where you point it!
