Does anyone out there have this plane and if so what amount of thrust (right & down) did they use and where did they locate the CG? I have one and have 2' right and 2' down thrust and the cg is right on but the plane is very sensitive to elevator inputs. The throws are below the recommended. I have a Thunder Tiger Pro-61 for power. It will snap out of a large loop on the last quarter almost every time. I have moved the battery next to the fuel tank and have not had a chance to fly it since then. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have this plane and I can tell you and VF has told me that the plane is snap prone. You need to reduce the amount of elevator throw until it does not snap out of the loop. As far as CG I'd stick with the recommended location. There is a good thread on the snapping issue....

Since moving the battery as far forward next to the tank, it flies considerably better. You still have to take it easy on the elevator though.

IMO the hard wing on these airplanes give them greater sensitivity to control inputs, especially elevator. Because the wing doesnt tend to mush, it changes direction very crisply. My 66 inch Edge and Extra have about 1/2 inch maximum elevator deflection and I dont nearly use half as much most of the time. The servos dont have to crank out a lot of torque and standard servos appear to be quite adequate! Also check for lateral balance. My Extra 66 was rolling out of a loop before I put about 1 oz in a wingtip. Also adjust engine thrust as it can make a big difference in tracking under power. Now it flies dead straight nomatter where you point it!

So if the plane tends to drop the right wing with up elevator input, which way would you add more engine thrust (right, left,up,down, combination)?

To set up the airplane initially, I usually check from level flight going into a long vertical climb under full power and straight rudder. If at some point the airplane tends to go right, I will add left thrust. If the airplane also tends to roll to the right, which is sort of equivilant to dropping the right wing, it could require adjusting the right aileron down or left aileron up slightly at this trim position and/or dialing some more left thrust. But before any of this the airplane should be balanced along the longitudinal axis also.[8D]

2 degrees right and 2 degrees down may be too much. I usually start with zero and add in small amounts if required. Both my Vector 300S 66 and Edge have zero down and maybe 1 degree right. Try reducing the thrusts, they might be affecting neutral control positions.
