I use 2 * 7.2v nosram 3600 stick packs. works wicked with a lot more power than a car battery and starts my buggy with just a blip on the wheel

Other than that a dry cell 12v pack like the one for the h7 pbs starter box would be better as are a lot smaller and can be fitted into the starter.
