Let me say that the kit I received was a newer run as the originals had the bright blue finish. The kit out of the box to be quite honest is very impressive. It builds easily and the parts fit together without very much adjustment. I hope they get the fibreglass thing ironed out for those who are still considering buying this plane. The only mod I really made was in using individual servos for the flaps as the cable actuation left a little to be desired and I had to build up the retract area to accept the Robart 615's. Sitting on the wheels this is (was) a very impressive plane.
