It just lands on its belly. The throttle only ignites the rocket engine. I have a friend fly me up high enough that I can barely see the cruise missle and then he drops me off . I fly it around until I am back over the runway at about 15 feet off the ground i hit the throttle the engine ignites and it takes the missle back up. the Cruise missle glides pretty well. It takes about 1 minute to get it back down to 15 ft. It looks really cool at dusk.
