It really is... at 17 lbs. it hauls it aorund nicely... some of it is due to the DV's clean design and great lift...

I could want for a tad bit more power coming out of a hover, but the engine only has a little over a gallon thru it... and a 22x8 prop...

Once I get 3 gallones or so I'll switch to synthetic oil and a 22x10 prop... I already can notice a little more power each flight...

I think the DA-50 is the perfect engine for the DV...

I gues I should also say what a joy it has been to run.... absolutely no issues, didn't have to touch the needles (tried but went back).

When cold 3 flips choked - 5 flips not... when warm.. 3 flips not chokes and I'm ready to go...
