Mike, you are going to LOVE the DV... it's just a very forgiving plane that is capable and simply stunning to look at.

I have two buddies with the WH Edge/Extra and they both are dissappointed they didn't build this plane... (Acutally one has one now and is looking to pull his stuff out of the Extra and put it in the DV...)

What I like best I suppose is that it doesn't snap on stall it just drops the nose, and with elevator will slowly come down flat.... you can try things and if it doesn't work out you simply give it some juice and some elevator and it'll right itself and allow you to move on.

The DA-50, in the few times I've gotten lower and getting away from me, will easily stop it and pull it out... an since there is no snapping tendencies it's not a nailbiter.

If you haven't seen one in person yet, you'll be amazied at how big it is... I first thought... THIS is a 50cc plane? Looks more like a 75... (When you think about people putting 50's on a GP Pitts/Christian Eagle)

I did a "real" measurement of wing area (which is 1607.56 sq. in.) and at my weight (17 lbs) that's a wingloading of 24.36 per sq. foot.

And with this size plane that is phenominal...
