stock oil isn't much good[

] I'd replace that I already have 25wt (too thin) and I am getting 50wt (too thick with stock pistons) and some syringes so I can mix some different wt's, try out harder oils and then if it's still damping badly then I will try drilling pistons this means the point at which the damping increases because of oil pressures inside the shock increases later, therefore it is better over small bumps and does not sacrifice damping for those big jumps you can't help but nail the throttle over

This effect is called the 'pack' of the pistons, drilling pistons decreases it. How do I know this? A very knowledgable cartoon character gave me a guide on another forum
