thats air coming out of the line and taking some left over fuel/oil with it, when the tanks full and overflowing it's all fuel.
surprising you've never seen this before, do you need to stir your MT before use?

swap back if you want, shame you didn't give it a chance to un-gunk the engine and see what it does in the air but never mind.
