Looking closer at the engine photo, it looks new. (no black sludge
around the front bearing). Make sure as you stand behind the
plane, that the engine angles to the right slightly and from the
side view that it angles down 2 deg. to give downthrust as it flys.
The downthrust can be done by putting 1/16" thk. washers
under rear engine flange mounting holes.
My earlier post about not being a trainer could be wrong if the
surface movements are not at max. and you're a patient trainee.
Seek out a good pilot with a buddy box and this will save you a
lot of rebuilding time.
