Maybe it's just me but looking at the conical gears the don't look like they will stand up to a lot of abuse. If I could find some that are ground and tempered I would go that route first. Then go to Torsens later. I've heard good and bad about Torsens, but have never ran them myself.

Tell me if I'm wrong about the conical gears. I'd like to know because I've never owned an X5 before.
