Yes the conical gears are teh last thing I would worry about. What I have foudn to be the only problem is the o-rings. You need to change out the main S05 o-rings to some aftermarket ones. You can find them @ A-main hobbies or on ebay. I just put a set in and will try, but hear that this will fix the leaky diff issue. I have almsot 2 gallons thru my car and the diffs have been apart a few times, gears look fine..
