Even after considering your flying preferences I don't think I would want to go any smaller than 35cc. I honestly question even this, but then Kaz felt it would fine. I'm not at all familiar with MVVS engines so, so I can only give an very basic opinion. I did have a Fuji once which ran very well, but was a bit hard to flip start. I ended up purchasing a high torque starter and everything was fine. I have a DA-50 on a Pitts Bipe and really like this engine. I'm not really into 3-D that much myself, but do like to have extra power when I want it, or needed it. My first choice would be the DA-50, but it's a bit pricey. I think I would also look at Brison which is better priced than the MVVS from what I can tell. A friend of mine has the Brison 52cc and he really likes his. You can get a Brison 39 cc engine for 375.00 US and a 52 cc engine for 450.00 US. I think the 35 CC MVVS is in the 449.00 range from what I can tell. Here is a link for their website.

ZDZ makes a good engine as well. You can get a 52 cc for 549.00 Here is the site link for Chief Aircraft if you don't have it.

I honestly wouldn't go as low as a 26cc engine for this airplane. I would stay at least around 39 cc and up as a matter of personal preference. Then again, my first choice would be the DA-50. Hope this has helped and good luck.
