RE: thunder tiger tiger stick 40
I have a TT Stick 40. It is a great flying airplane. Yes, the covering is cheap and will eventually separate leaving a sticky mess. I started recovering mine but have not yet finished. The workmanship under the covering is quite good. As is typical with some of the Thunder Tiger models, the glue that hold the firewall appears to be hot glue. I removed as much as I could without removing the firewall, filled in the gap with epoxy, then added triangular stock to reinforce it. I have had no problems with the firewall.
There is are view of the Stick on my web page. I reviewed in for RC Reports several years ago. The review on my web page is basically a synopsis of that review. I have been pleased with the Stick and would not hesitate to buy another one.
