I just got a Slasher and I am running a O.S. 25 fx with a 9x6 prop. It flew very well. I had a SPAD before this one, I crashed it while trying to catch a crow with it, but anyhow the Slasher flies smoother and faster, but is a tad bit more expensive. There are about 5-6 of us at our club that fly combat.
