Default RE: receiver battery for smoke pump

Electrical noise will feedback to the receiver, but this will happen regardless of using the battery power from the receiver or not. The range will be reduced to a degree with a smoke system, if this becomes a problem or not depends on the set up of the model. Generally it will not, but it is possible. Personally I do not like the idea of running the smoke pump off of the receiver power, but I know that people have done it successfully. I feel it is best to isolate the power of the smoke pump from the receiver of the model.
