Still problems with Evo .46
Finally got the engine started. This thing is supposedly set at factory. They musta been drinkin chinese rice wine or something because the stupid thing wouldn't start. I turned the high needle completely off and then turned it 3 full turns open. Finally started and I let it run for 10 seconds and then gave it full. I get full throttle at a few clicks past the mid throttle point on the TX (yes, I checked the carb opening to make sure it was full open). I can hold it full verticle (180) up and down and it doesn't miss a beat. But, when you go back down to idle and then give a little gas, it'll cut out unless you fool with the throttle trim. I've had the throttle trim almost all the way up which feels like its too many rpms' but when I back it down, the engine quits. I'm new to glow but I didn't have any problems runnin in my OS .46 AX. Does it sound like a low needle adjustment? If so, which way? Clockwise or counter-clockwise? This engine don't seem to put out as much as the OS .46 Thanx in advance!
