Default RE: Best Plane for .52 Four Stroke

Waag - the Magic is a nice plane for pure 3D, only 'problem' with the plane is that the fuse is very narrow and you will have one hell of a time installing the receiver if its not a slim/small version. A normal receiver and 5 cell batt pack will be extremely tight. Plane flies ever so nice and easy. The wire landing gear suckz ... it can break and needs to be reinforced. Wrap wire around it and then solder it.

The Magic Extra is more acrobatic/pattern like. Plane is lovely but the only problem is that the stripes will come off so please remember to iron them when you are getting the plane ready. Also this plane has a very weak fuse, the area behind the UC is the weak point, no hard landings please ... would be great to reinforce it with some 3/32 ply perhaps. This plane flies really nice too. Gentle and floaty.

For a good sport plane try the WM Super Sport. Pretty acrobatic too.
