I'm running a Jaccio regulator and NMP LiIon batttery just like Troy.
My Radio gear is all Futaba, 9ZAP and 309DPS receiver with digital servos all around.

Not a single glitch so far. Antenna is located inside the composite fuselage as far as possible from elevator servo leads (servos in stabs) and rudder pull-pull cables (steel wire).

The biggest difference from Troy's setup is that I use a regulator w. built-in switch. So I don't have a separate switch in series with regulator. For storage I just unplug the battery.

I can recommend using Jaccio and NMP batteries, just bear in mind the safety precausions with Lithium batteries.
5.7 V is working like charm with newest line of Futaba digitals, S9154 etc.
