Yes, lean that out a bit, but I would instead turn both the HSN and LSN in all the way and reset to the settings in the manual.

Also, look at your fuel tubing right as it enters the carburator. I will often see air bubbles there after refilling my tank if I let it run completely out. Until the air bubbles are gone, my truck will die everytime I let off the throttle. So, what I will to is just give it enough throttle to rev the engine (still keeping it in place, with my foot if necessary), for about 15 seconds, and then give it steady throttle and circle it around for a minute until I feel that it won't die as soon as I try to idle. It has worked well for me so far.
