Default RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D

I got my Twist fly'n today I had more fun in one day with this plane than the whole time I had the Funtanna Started out @ 4 1/2" to be on the safe side. Rest of the day was @ 4 3/4". Next weekend I'll have to put it @ 5" [8D] I need to bump my low rates up just a touch, got the high rates set for as much throw as I could get. Tried to hover some, but wasn't pretty...... Hey it was my first day with it, gotta cut me alittle slack Flat spins were OK..... need to move the cg back farther to make'm alittle more flat, the nose was pointed down some. I was try'n to do a lomcevac.... & ended up in a inverted flat spin [8D] It was perfect, sooo flat & slow (the decent). Don't know how I got into it as I tried to do it agin, but couldn't for some reason... Go figgure? I did have one misshap.... I was having so much fun I didn't pay attention to how long I had been flying. So as I was going vertical to do another spin, the prop stopped. I yelled- O S#!T (calling deadstick didn't come to mind for some reason, but everyone got the point). I let it fall over, then after it picked up some speed I did a half roll, then the dumb thumbs set in. I still had ele high rate on & dorked it into the high weeds. Only damage was the left ele had a broke counterbalance. I was sure I was go'n to need to buy a new one, the way it went in. Luck was on my side this time
BTW, gear-Saito .72, APC 13x4W, SuperSlim RX, HS-300's.
