You run 3S lipoly packs like Tanics or ThunderPower, Mega 4 turn brushless and a stiff carbon prop, easily double the speed.
Because with the lipoly pack as compared to 8 cell packs, your looking at about 5 ounces or more weight loss.
Electrics have advantage up to a point. Take for instance a hangar 9 Twist. There is a guy on the E-Zone who powered his
with a brushless AXI motor. Then a brushless speed control and batt packs. In all, he's probably got close to 400 or more in this
power setup. I spent $90 on an EVO .46 in mine. Once you get to a point, I can't see spending the extra $$$ just so you don't have
to clean up after a day's flying.
