I am rebuilding an airplane that crashed. The front of the plane was destroyed in the crash and subsequent fire. The motor seems too heavy for 2 screws – is there a stronger way to mount a motor than that? Is there a way to support the back end of the motor that won’t be affected by the heat from the motor? I was thinking of using a dowel as a cross member under the back part of the motor – would it get too hot if the motor rested on it?
