Default RE: Chip Hyde's Cap-X - Building & Flying

Well I was finally able to take my cap-x up for her maiden flight last night. I moved the elevator servos up under the canopy like NOVAflier, but I didn't move the rudder servo. Powered by an O.S. 1.60 w/perry pump. Balanced with about 2 oz. in the nose. She flew great!! Very stable plane. BUT THE COVERING......... IS ANOTHER STORY! About half way through my first flight I noticed something flapping in the wind below both of my wings. Two of the red stripes had come off. Has anyone found a way to keep this from happening? (besides the "CA solution" that was suggested). [:@] This thread seems to have gone cold, is anyone still reading this?
