Question on a Homelite,hope someone here can stear me in the right direction on this one.I got a 25cc Zip Start engine,when i took off the carb manifold it has several little goodies that my other Homelite doesn't.The first one is a 1/4 inch hole directly beneath the intake port.The second is this rectangular shaped hole with a brass rectangular block above the intake port, it looks to be a key of sorts combined together and seems to be some sort of release mechanism.The next is the manifold itself,it has a 3/8 inch hose running from the top where the release setup is to the bottom of the manifold where the 1/4 inch hole is benath the intake port. Seems to me that this is a Califirnia motor with polution a device built into it.What do i do?Toss the head and get another one or make an aluminum plate and block this stuff off.Shame,this is an engine that looks to be started only once.One other thing,after reading some of the posts on Homelites this might be a 30cc engine,it has no bridge in the exaust port.Anyone run into this before?Thanks,,,Slade
