with $400 i wouldn't plan on racing. im about to spend $600-700 to get my buggy and upgrade the radio gear and i still wont be able to afford to race.

the mbx is a good strong buggy from what ive heard, its just not up to par with the better buggies when it comes to all out racing. i have a friend with one and hes real happy with it, just set aside some money to get a better steering servo($50-100)
