I have the electric evader and now I think I'm ready for a nitro buggy. I'm getting one for my birthday and its in the middle of winter [sm=crying.gif]. So I know I want a kit. It has to be able to keep up with my neighbor's T-Maxx andif I have any trouble tuning the engine he'll help me (he's nice). I definetaly want one that will be pretty good for racing cause I'm looking into racing. Also it can't be much more than $400. Tthanks in advance for the help.

I looked at the hyper 7 and because its my first nitro its a little too much money because of the cost of fuel and all the tools I need. Is the Ultra Mbx Pro any good? I really like the yellow and blue wheels.

with $400 i wouldn't plan on racing. im about to spend $600-700 to get my buggy and upgrade the radio gear and i still wont be able to afford to race.
the mbx is a good strong buggy from what ive heard, its just not up to par with the better buggies when it comes to all out racing. i have a friend with one and hes real happy with it, just set aside some money to get a better steering servo($50-100)

I agree with flatlander, You probably not going get a good kit and stuff to run it for 400 bucks. But if you go with the MBX pro, youl do fine. Its a great buggy. you cant get a good kit and nnot spend much less than 600 bucks to get it running.
