Default RE: Chip Hyde's Cap-X - Building & Flying

hey gang, I just aquired a Nused CAp-X and want to chime in here

plans are for a 1.60fx w/ Pitts muffler and Perry pump
not sure on servos yet. I am considering the following:

Hitec 56xx - price is good and I have had good success with them on otehr planes
Hitec 59xx - better performance
JR 8611 - have never flown with JR's and I have read good reviews on them, also a few bucks more than the Hitecs with more power

The JR's and 59xx are pricey but might be worth it [X(]

I am dissapointed with the covering, reminds me of the stuff on the GSP Katana. it's not a major issue but one that does merit being revamped from the manufacturer.

I am puzzled on one thing, I played with it a bit before I went to bed and maybe becuase I didnt have my contacts in I coudnt figure out something. The wing does not appear to fit onto the saddle on the fuse. Either one or the other is too big or small.

Anyone else have the same problem?
