I helped a youngster build his. We did a few mods, like removing the existing engine mount, filling the holes, then using a GP 1.20 size mount we installed an OS .91 inverted. Less cowl hacking that way. The 1.20 mount allowed us to move the engine forward as these planes are tail heavy. We still mounted the battery on a platform under the engine box and then it balanced fine; slightly nose heavy in fact.

The plane is fine for entry level IMAC (Basic class). It is probably the fastest snapping plane I've ever flown, so it will not be suitable for Sportsman unless you have dual rate on the rudder and can take most of it out for snaps.

Great value for money, in my opinion.
