xantos, don't charge or cycle the battery. I don't care if it's six hours or 100 hours. Let it sit on the charger till the lights out. You have no idea how much capacity it needed to fill. 6 hours at 500 MAH per hour is only 3000 mah. so you know after a full day of flying it's gonna be at least an 8 hour charge.
What I do is charge all night night before I fly, and then put on charger in between flights (for no sum certain time frame, I just simply plug it in between flights) and that keeps it up to where I can fly all day without battery hesitation (I think the most I've put on the duralites is 12 to 15 flights in one day, 10 is average).
The voltages you indicate are PERFECT and exactly what you should be expecting.
Don't forget, do not leave the receiver pack plugged into the voltage regulator!! Put a switch between the battery and voltage regulator.
