The gas engines 99.999% of the people use are 2 stroke engines...

Do you mean your B-17 plans call for .40cid (6.5cc) two stroke glow engines, and you want to put 1cid gas engines in there? Wow...

I'd stick with glow on this one... if it calls for .40 2-strokes, get .60-.70 four strokes (glow too).
Or pull out your credit card and electrify it.
