I use so many lights so i can duplicate the real car. 2 headlights, 2 projector/high beams, 2 markers and an array for the tail lights. also, because I can. that's why. and yes mine are very bright too but no LED can be bright enough to blind you. without some lense refinement and overdriving the LED.
