Default Piper Cub 6ft on Electric?

Hi guys,

Just bought a Piper Cub 6ft wingspan plane, see here...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=5915581726

...it recommends a .61 size engine, I have one but I want to go Electric with this kit, its massive but is this possible?

I'm working to a relatively low budget, but in general what would I need in terms of power? The Speed range seem quite cheap, would a Speed 800 be adequate in terms of power? I don't want this to be a slow crawling ship, would be nice for it to have some power!

Got 3 x 9.6v 3000mah NIMH batteries, would one of these be adequate to power the beast? or could I even chain up 2 or even 3 of them to give long flights?

Appreciate your help!!

Cheers, Ash
