Another question!

I have an old Precendent HiBoy, recommends 30-40 engine (from memory), would a Speed 600 (that I've just won on EBay) and a 9.6v 3000mah NIMH get it into the air, or not? if not then without going Brushless what motor size would be sufficient?

My Aerobird Xtreme's 540 feels powerful enough to pull it, but perhaps not quite into the air.
