Pic of a very used-but but very sweet running -ZDZ 40 on a DP Edge. Did have a ZDZ 50 NG but need that engine for another project and picked up the 40 from a flying bud. With the 50 everything is unlimited. With the 40 you will have to be choose props wisely to have decent pull out from a hover but to me every thing else is just fine. You won't save any weight by going to the 40 over the 50 since it only weighs about 4-5 oz less. To me the plane is more fun to fly with the 40, but you will give up some vertical performance, but thats not a big deal with the DP.
