im using the same setups as 'hookedonrc' and it really works out well. i bought my saito before the .82 was released, but the .72 has lots of power to do just about anything. the extra power of the .82 would just make it more fun to fly. you can put something like an os 46fx or ax in it, but it wont really do 3d well....more of a pattern type setup. make sure you glue the horozontal stab on with 30min epoxy. i only used 15min and it actually came loose. standard servos are good all around. they recommend a high torque for the rudder, but i think something like a futaba 3004 would work. for maiden flight, make aileron rates half of what the manual says until you get used to it.
