Krysta, thank you for your response. And I also thank you for not making us pay for the shipping, but it only addresses half the problem.

When we purchase something new to use, we want to use it right away...........I live in California. For me to ship it out, you to repair, and me get it back in my hot little hands would take at least a two weeks, or more, especially if the shipment is ground.

Let me give you an example of great customer service. I am a home theater nut as well as into rc planes. Awhile ago, I purchased a Zenith High Definition Tuner. When I got it home, I noticed that there was a problem. When I called them, they said that if I gave them my credit card # for insurance, that they would immediatly send me out a brand new unit Air Fright, along with a prepaid AirFright label to send my unit back, so that I would not have to experience any extended down time. I received my new unit in two days and immediatly sent theirs back...............Hassle free.

In that way, I could maintain my original purchasing experience in that I purchased a new unit and would be able use it, virtually right away, as was the original intention in the first place.

Why can't Futaba do the same. When we purchase a new transmitter, we want to go out and fly. Not wait 2 or 3 weeks to get it repaired. I'd understand if the unit was out in the field and being used for a few months before the problem was reported, but this is a brand new unit fresh out of the box. Why should we have to wait??
