RE: Midwest Extra 300xs Flutter!!
The servos were way undersized. I would have used something well into the 100's of ounce-inch torque. The Hitech 5645's are are 168 ounce-inch at 6 volts. That would have been a good servos all around. Also I'd like to see pic's of the control linkages. That has a big effect on the servos failing. I had this same thing happen to me using 635's and setting the throws for 3D. Big mistake. Luckily I only damaged the wing and the fuse was fine. I now use the 5645's, my linkages are set up 1:1 and I have about 30 flights with no problems at all. Also that Moki is a VERY powerful engine and needs to be respected. I have a 1.80 Moki and find myself constantly having to throttling back and bleed off speed.
