I've got my right aileron plugged into channel 1 and my left aileron plugged into channel 6 so that I can use flapperons with my Hitec Eclipse transmitter. How can I use this feature to help with harriers and elevators (I'm new to 3d).

Also, I have a VR1 dial that allows me to use + or - flaps for certain situations. I've heard they can help on short landing strips. Would you want to use + or - flaps during landings, and how does that affect the approach speed and angle?
