Default RE: GWS E Starter-set up help

Im also a first timer as well. I started with slow stick as well. Then by recommendation from hobby store bought estarted. Pretty solid if you ask me. Nosed dived a few times with no problems. IF you can adjust your ailerons to only move about 1/4 to 3/8" the plane will not react so much. ITs enough were I could make my turms but if I panic (with I still do) I wont over compensate. As you get better you can adjust so you can do rolls. It doesnt fly too fast but quicker that slow stick.

The guy at hobby store suggested I take a ribbon of carbon fibre and run from about the wing to the rudder for additional strength. THe kit comes in 2 halves. I just epoxied it between the 2 parts when I assembled. The carbon comes in a ribbon. about 1/4 wide and only about 1/32 thick. So very light. Also, pay attention to battery compartment. Make sure you batteries will fit. I had to carve out a little to fit mine. I made my own hatch instead of the one supplied.

If you have anymore questions on assembly feel free and email me directly
