Default RE: E-flite Ultimate, Hellraiser or Raptor?

ORIGINAL: Gringo Volador

I am looking to get into the foamies as well. Would like one that can do 3D but want a good general flyer as well. Have looked at the hellraiser, raptor, etc. as well.

Skibo, I like the idea of these fun planes being indestructible but why are they so expensive? It seems like a bunch of the other foamies are in the $35-45 price range.
Well lets say you have a crash with any $40 foamy. A crash so bad you need to replace the kit....

Original Kit = $40
Replace crashed kit= $40
Time spent to R&R equipment= $$$$$$
Time spent setting up new A/C=$$$$$$

Add all that up and it will be less expensive and less headaches if you had purchased an "indestructable" A/C. And you can crash it as much as you like without the $$$ outcome.

I dont know just my thoughts. I have never flown any of these EPP foam planes, and have nothing to do with any companies that manufacture these types of planes.

I myself have had many types of foamies. Primarily because you can only crash and repair a foamy so many times. I am currently flying a AXI powered Shocky, an AXI powered Hellraiser, and a Hacker powered G-202.

I agree with mAvRiCk said. Quite fun in the hands of an experienced pilot.
