Default RE: Suggestion on Engine for MK Skystar 90

A friend of mine has the 110 Skystar combo and I must say this is the right combo.

Why?

Well yes you could say it is overpowered but the first time we competed at an event with a strong wind the power of the 110 came into its own and just drew much straighter lines due to the extra speed he could fly at.

I was Flying My Epsilon at the time with a 91FX in it and spent most of the day flying sideways ... needles to say I now have a 110 and can fly throught the eye of a Hurrican only joking

Its a real case of using the power inteligently ...full power only on take off run the only upto 3/4 throttle for the whole pattern .... until its starts to blow then use more and more.

The best bit about this set up unbelivably is the fuel ... as the 110 produces so much power you end up using less fuel than a 91 two stroke because you fly the majority of the sched at 1/3 to 2/3rds throttle

Just my 2p
