RE: TigerDrive start system
I did ALOT of research on this device, as much as getting in contact with Sullivan. After countless hours of fighting with a pullstart, and not wanting to lug around a starterbox while bashing, I found this gear start system. Theres two options here: 1. buy their starter @ $50 aside from the drive itself or 2. buy the shaft and attach it to a drill, but make sure it a STRONG drill. I too liked their ability to be mounted in any direction of the compass. I was about to place the order when I noticed that if it was installed on my motor facing north, it hits my eshaust, west it hits the downpipe, south.. no way, east, again... I eneded up calling Ofna and found a backplate that would fit my non-ofna buggy. At the end of the day I'd have to say I'm happy with the Ofna backplate starter and for the Tigerdrive being only $19 @ Tower, it reminds me of that phrase, "you get what you pay for". Good luck brother.
