Default RE: Suggestion on Engine for MK Skystar 90

I imagine if you did cram a 1.40 in a Skystar, you would find the point of failure in the wing structure. It's lightly built- fine if powered as indicated on plans, would not go beyond the YS 1.10- Webra 1.20 at most
It does not need a 1.40 OS or YS!!

Will~ I would not I suppose normally pick anything over an MK kit, but have heard so much good stuff about the Widebody/ Epsilon that I have an Epsilon coming. Had I seen your WB for sale I would have just done that.
We'll see from there about a 2 meter Epsilon over the TopStar. I do prefer wood fuselages & 1 piece wings so the choices have been limited.

Yep, my little Alliance up for sale. Have sold ALL my sport models locally- going back to all pattern. Love the airplanes & we have a great group of guys flying here in D1. My club has 8 very active pattern fliers, cant beat that many places.
