I have two Graphtech gears. One on my 4 Star 120 and one on my DP 330L. The 4 star gear is plain black and the DP is Yellow. I have quite a few landings on them with no problems what so ever. I have spoke with Mike at Graphtech several times while we designed the 4 star gear and he has always been very honest and help full. I also have their tail gears and have had no problems. They gears are a significant weight savings and don't spring bounce like a light aluminum gear. Give Mike a call, explain your situation and my guess is he'll make it right for you.
