I am still having the following problem:-

The 'message read flag' is going up too quickly.

For example, I get, say 4 emails telling me of new messages in subscribed forums and respond to them by going to each one in turn. This has the effect of making all the unread messages in my home forum as 'read', and when I go into RCU again to look at the messages I wasn't emailed about, I cannot now see the new messages since I last looked.

It's no use me choosing the 'posted today' option as that doesn't restrict the forums shown to 'My Forums' and the list is padded out with ones I don't want to read.

I cannot find a way round this. This explains why I have almost ceased to contribute (and I'm sure the same can be said for other regular contributors) as I don't get to see the 'unread threads' anymore.

It's no use me going straight into the forum and trying to deal with all the unread messages before responding to the ones I have been emailed about, as that doesn't give me time to respond to the emailed ones!

A delay of, say, one hour before the 'read flag' goes up would solve my problem.

Any thoughts?
