hi again,
landing the spit was always an event for me.......not due to the plane......only with my inexperience......I never had flaps on this plane....i was in too much of a rush to finish it......50% of the time i could get 3 point landings......the other 50%....well.....!!!!
thinking about it reminds me of some of the worse landings i had...
loads of nose overs.......one wing too low a few times as well that sent the plane spinning......the most damage i ever did to it was a couple of wing bolts snapping.....!!
as for stability......rock solid....!!.....on rails....!!
the servo's are mounted in the wing(wells already cut for you an ducting holes for your extention leads as well)...you only have to glue in a couple of blocks for the servo screws.......
detail on the fuse was good with panel lines an screws all moulded in.......
the cylinder head was the only thing you could see......engine had
to be mounted upside down.......it all fitted in......bar the exhaust..
again in too much of a rush to pipe it.......
