Default Cline regulator

Hi all

i am about to purchase a cline regulator for use with my OS 91 Surpass but i'am a bit unsure about how it works (with a four stroke) I understand it needs to pressurise the tank to a minimum of 2psi, and that when used with a four stroke it is connected to the muffler pressure tap. What i don't understand is how muffler pressure can provide the minimum 2psi, i though muffler pressure only provides a fraction of 1psi. I realise there is a one way valve to retain pressure in the tank but how does muffler pressure build up to the required level?[sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif]

Regards
