Hi all
i am about to purchase a cline regulator for use with my OS 91 Surpass but i'am a bit unsure about how it works (with a four stroke) I understand it needs to pressurise the tank to a minimum of 2psi, and that when used with a four stroke it is connected to the muffler pressure tap. What i don't understand is how muffler pressure can provide the minimum 2psi, i though muffler pressure only provides a fraction of 1psi. I realise there is a one way valve to retain pressure in the tank but how does muffler pressure build up to the required level?[sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif]

i believe that on the exaust stroke it developes somewhere between 3 to 6 lbs depending on the engine.and especialy the rpms, more pressure higher rpms so theres no problem with the check valve keeping pressure in the tank. cause it does work! and then the regulator then only delivers what the demand is
